Used in indoor sewer installations for the discharge of domestic wastewater at low and high temperatures, in gravity flow (non-pressure) conditions (for which the leak-tightness test is carried out at max. 0.5 bar), and in the associated natural ventilation systems.
Reference standard: SR EN 1329-1.
The gray pipes are made of PVC-U and are fitted at one end with a socket with gasket.
The size range includes diameters from 32 mm to 110 mm, with lengths between 250 and 6000 mm.
The fire reaction classification of PVC-U piping in accordance with SR EN 13501 is class C. The material is fire-resistant, self-extinguishing when the fire source disappears. No fireproofing is required as with other materials for indoor sewerage, as PVC-U is fire-retardant. For penetrations through ceilings, we recommend using fire collars as a protection measure against flame spread.
For the installation of indoor sewerage, compliance with national and European design and installation specifications is recommended.
