The treatment plant designed with this unit does not accept: industrial wastewater (unless it is domestic), water from other sources such as drainage water, pool discharge water, rainwater, etc. The delivery package includes the technical treatment equipment, consisting of 2 submersible AQUA5 aerators (0.56 kW / 2.5 A), an ATB Lift2 treated water discharge pump (0.3 kW / 1.3 A), an ATB Lift 2 sludge pump mounted on a metal support with chain suspension, a FEKA 600 supply pump (1.0 kW / 4.3 A), a fully electronic aControl type control unit (230 V/50 Hz) with a heated electrical cabinet, a sample collection container, and a 7x 1.5 mm² electrical cable (standard 15 m) between the equipment and the control unit. The delivery package also includes all mounting accessories such as screws, dowels, hoses, and a 1.5 L sample collection container. The aggregates are designed for 230 V, 50 Hz. Treatment capacity (homogenized sample at 24 h) under standard conditions and correct operation: BOD₅: (≤ 20 mg/L, COD: (≤ 90 mg/L, NH₄-N (≤ 10 mg/L, Ntot: ≤ 25 mg/L. Operating Principle: The VALCleanio (aquaClean) SBR 17/50 LE GZ WASTEWATER TREATMENT UNIT operates on the activated sludge principle and batch water treatment (SBR, Sequencing Batch Reactor). Biological treatment, sludge separation, and treated water discharge occur in the same tank. Water is treated in batches (cyclically), with each treatment stage following chronologically rather than in different tanks. Variations in concentration and flow do not affect treatment quality. Impurities are metabolized by microorganisms in the water, which multiply to form activated sludge. The system’s settings are electronic and can be adapted to specific needs. The operating times of the aggregates are indicated on the display. Upon commissioning, the number of connected persons is programmed. It is not necessary to change data for under- or overload times of the system. The proControl unit stores all operating data and times, power outages, manual or automatic restarts, maintenance work performed, etc. The treatment plant reaches treatment parameters after approximately one month of operation. In the event of prolonged underload or prolonged low temperatures below 12 °C, the adaptation phase of microorganisms and the achievement of treatment parameters may take several months. In these cases, it is recommended to inoculate the system with activated sludge from a functional treatment plant. Sample Collection: Since the discharge period is short, a portion of the treated water is directed into a 1.5 L container from which samples can be taken for analysis. The container is mounted near the access hatch to the system for easy accessibility. Alternatively, samples can be taken from a separate discharge manhole (the manhole is not part of the delivery package). Systems are individually sized according to the application. Sizing is performed by qualified and experienced personnel. The treatment capacity depends on both the constructed tanks and the appropriate equipment settings.
