The aquaClean SBR 21/28 wastewater treatment plant with 3 polypropylene tanks is designed for treating domestic wastewater for a daily consumption between 3,000 and 4,200 liters/day, with a BOD5 load of 1.2-1.7 kg/day. This water treatment system consists of 3 tanks made of welded polypropylene sheets and AQUAmax CLASSIC 17-50 Z treatment equipment. It incorporates technology from ATB Umwelttechnologien GmbH. Performance is in accordance with SR EN 12566-3:2005+A2. The system operates on the activated sludge principle and batch water treatment (SBR, Sequencing Batch Reactor). Impurities are metabolized by microorganisms in the water, which multiply to form activated sludge. Treatment capacity (homogenized sample at 24 h): BOD5: ≤ 20 mg/L. COD: ≤ 90 mg/L. NH4N: ≤ 10 mg/L. Nanorg: ≤ 25 mg/L (@12°C). Attention! aquaClean SBR treatment plants cannot be used for treating industrial wastewater or water with biological loads exceeding the specified limits (e.g., food industry, agro-livestock farms).
