VALPlast compact-wall (single-layer) PVC-U pipes are manufactured from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride and are used in municipal gravity sewerage and drainage networks.

Product standard: SR EN 1401-1 Buried plastic piping systems for non-pressure drainage and sewerage—Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U). Specification for pipes, fittings and the system.

The pipes have a single-layer wall, made of homogeneous, compact PVC-U material.
The pipes are joined with a socket and sealing gasket.

Depending on the strength class, the pipes are classified as follows:
SN2 (SDR51) with ring stiffness min. 2 kN/m²;
SN4 (SDR41) with ring stiffness min. 4 kN/m²;
SN8 (SDR34) with ring stiffness min. 8 kN/m²;
SN10 (SDR31) with ring stiffness min. 10 kN/m²;
SN12 (SDR31) with ring stiffness min. 12 kN/m²;
SN16 (SDR26) with ring stiffness min. 16 kN/m².
