load, compared to PE80 and PE100.
The dimensions of PE100RC pipes are standardized according to EN 12201-2.

Normung, which includes: characteristics, requirements, and test methods for PE100RC polyethylene pipes that can be
installed using unconventional methods.
Usage
WaterKIT PE100RC pipes are used in pressurized potable water supply networks, installed using unconventional
methods (horizontal directional drilling, micro-tunneling, open trench without sand bedding, rehabilitation of old
pipelines, etc.)

PE100RC high-density polyethylene pipes are utilized for cold water supply networks (including potable water) and are installed underground.
Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack propagation, these pipes can also be installed using unconventional methods (e.g., horizontal directional drilling, relining) without reducing the network's service life, or in open trenches without sand bedding, with backfill performed using excavated soil if it is compactable.
