Triple-layer PE100RC-PE100RC-PE100RC pipes are utilized in pressurized water supply networks (including drinking water).
Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack propagation, these pipes can be installed in open trenches without sand embedding, with the option of using excavated soil as backfill if it is compactable, or through unconventional laying methods (horizontal directional drilling, relining).
The pipes are manufactured by co-extrusion, configured as follows:
-the outer and inner layers - smooth and blue,
-the intermediate layer - smooth (plain), black,
made of high-density polyethylene with resistance to crack propagation (PE100RC), stabilized to provide UV protection, in accordance with PAS 1075:2009-4.
