It is used in internal drainage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater under gravity flow conditions (where the leak test is performed at a maximum of 0.5 bar), especially for building stacks, where sound attenuation from water discharge from upper floors is desired.

The white pipes are manufactured by co-extrusion from PVC-U with mineral additives, featuring a triple-layer wall construction, and are equipped with a socket and gasket at one end.
The size range includes diameters from 50 mm to 200 mm, with lengths between 250 mm and 3000 mm.
The acoustic performance is 11 dB for a flow rate of 2 l/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements conducted in the laboratories of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing clamps is recommended.
The fire behavior classification of the piping, in accordance with SR EN 13501, falls into class C – s3 – d0. The material is fire-resistant, self-extinguishing when the fire source is removed. Unlike other materials for internal drainage, PVC-U material is inherently fire-retardant, so no additional fireproofing is required. When passing through ceilings, we recommend using fire collars as a protective measure against flame propagation.
To reduce the noise level of internal drainage systems, we recommend:
• Selecting a system of pipes and fittings with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensuring correct system design;
• Installing the system correctly using appropriate products.
