Water meter chambers are compact, monoblock products (without joints or
welds), made of polyethylene (PE), manufactured using
extrusion-blow molding technology.
They are designed to protect the water meter and the connection installation.
Manufacturing conditions and general quality requirements for
water meter chambers are included in Valrom Industrie’s Technical
Company Standard STF 9/2005.
Compact wall construction variant: single-layer wall made of compact
material (mass-colored polyethylene).
Components

– 15 mm thick expanded polyethylene (PEE) thermal insulation foil
– 3/4″ installation consisting of polyethylene pipes, compression
fittings, and isolation valves. Customized
installations can be created according to specific needs.
The monoblock construction, the insulated lid, and the sealing solutions for
the rubber gasket transitions at the lid and for the
wall penetrations prevent water infiltration and protect the
internal installation from freezing.
Approved and technically certified for use in construction.

The water meter chamber is designed to protect the water meter and related installations for individual service connections.
The water meter chamber is installed in non-traffic areas (green spaces), in Group 1 areas (exclusively for pedestrians or cyclists), and in Group 2 areas (pavements and parking spaces, car parks), classified according to SR EN 124-1.
When installed in Group 1 or Group 2 areas, a cover with a minimum resistance class of A15 or B125, respectively, compliant with EN 124, must be mounted over the PE chamber cover. The PE chamber cover has a diameter of 530 mm and 2 pockets, allowing its removal through a composite/cast iron cover with a D600 clear opening.
The body of the water meter chamber is produced by extrusion blow molding from polyethylene, with a compact, double-layer structure, blue on the outside and white on the inside. The chamber cover is produced by extrusion blow molding from polyethylene; it is sealed and contains an air cushion which, together with the gasket, ensures there is no risk of freezing during cold weather. The gasket ensures water tightness, prevents outside air from entering, and protects the installation from freezing.
The installation includes: PE100 water pipe Dext 25x2 SDR 17 PN10, compression elbows D25 x ¾'' 'FE (2 pcs.), ¾'' FI-FI brass water valve with butterfly handle (1 pc.), ¾'' FI-FE brass water valve with butterfly handle (1 pc.), ¾'' inclined water filter (1 pc.). The sealing of the pipe passages through the chamber wall is ensured by 25x40 gaskets (2 pcs.).
