VALWATER DOUBLE-LAYERED WATER METER PIT LID D530 D800 H1050 INSTALLATION 40X1 1/4″
The water meter pit is designed to protect the water meter and associated installations for individual connections.
The water meter pit should be placed in areas without traffic (green spaces), in Group 1 areas (exclusively for pedestrians or cyclists), and in Group 2 areas (pavements and parking spaces, car parks), classified according to SR EN 124-1.
When installed in Group 1 or Group 2 areas, a lid with a minimum resistance class of A15 or B125, respectively, compliant with EN 124, must be mounted above the pit's PE lid. The pit's PE lid has a diameter of 530 mm and two pockets, allowing it to be removed through a composite/cast iron lid with a clear opening of D600.
The body of the water meter pit is produced by extrusion blow molding from polyethylene, featuring a double-layered, compact structure, blue on the exterior and white on the interior.
The gasket ensures water tightness, prevents outside air from entering, and protects the installation from freezing.
The installation includes: PE100 water pipe Dext 40x2.4 SDR 17 PN10, compression fittings 40x1 1/4" FI (2 pcs.), brass water valves 1 1/4" FI-FE with lever (2 pcs.).
