This pipe is used in internal drainage systems for the discharge of domestic wastewater in gravity flow mode (where the leak test is performed at a maximum of 0.5 bar), especially for building risers where sound attenuation from water discharge from upper floors is desired.

The black pipes are made of PP with mineral additives, featuring a triple-layer wall construction, and are equipped with a socket and gasket at one end.
The size range includes diameters from 32 mm to 160 mm, with lengths between 250 mm and 3000 mm.
Acoustic performance is 16 dB for a flow rate of 2 l/s. The sound-absorbing properties are certified following measurements conducted at the Fraunhofer Institute laboratories in Germany, in accordance with EN 14366. The use of sound-absorbing pipe clamps is recommended.
The fire behavior classification of the piping, in accordance with DIN 4102-1, falls under class B1. When passing through ceilings, we recommend using fire collars as a protective measure against flame propagation.
To reduce the noise level of internal drainage systems, we recommend:
• Selecting a pipe and fitting system with good sound-absorbing properties;
• Ensuring correct system design;
• Correctly installing the system using appropriate products.
