GasPro pipes are used in natural gas supply networks with a maximum operating pressure MOP = 10 bar (reference temperature 20°C). GasPro pipes were designed to improve handling, storage, and installation conditions and to reduce the costs associated with these operations. The core consists of a high-density polyethylene PE100 pipe for gas networks, in accordance with the requirements of product standards and applicable national regulations. On the outside, from the manufacturing stage (co-extrusion), a layer of polypropylene (PP) is applied, with additives to increase scratch and penetration resistance. Polypropylene is approx. 3 times more resistant than polyethylene, and any damage beyond the permissible limit is easy to notice due to the different color of the protective layer. This layer protects the pipe against mechanical stresses and UV radiation, from manufacturing until the end of its service life in use.
