GasPRO pipes are used in natural gas supply networks with a maximum operating pressure of MOP = 10 bar (reference temperature 20°C).
GasPRO pipes comply with EN 1555-2:2011, Annex B “Pipes with peelable layer” (“Pipes with peelable layer”).
GasPRO pipes were designed to: improve handling, storage and installation conditions and reduce the costs associated with these operations.
The core consists of a high-density polyethylene PE100RC pipe (Resistant to Cracks / crack-resistant). On the outside, from the manufacturing stage (co-extrusion), a yellow polypropylene (PP) layer is applied, with additives to increase scratch and penetration resistance. Polypropylene is approx. 3 times more resistant than polyethylene, and any damage beyond the permissible limit is easy to notice due to the different color of the protective layer. This layer protects the pipe against mechanical stresses and UV radiation, from the moment of manufacture until the end of its service life.
