Triple-layer PE100RC-PE100RC-PE100RC structured pipes are used in pressurized water supply networks (including drinking water).
Due to the increased resistance of PE100RC material to slow crack growth, these pipes can be installed in an open trench without sand bedding, with the possibility of using the excavated soil as backfill if it can be compacted, or by unconventional installation methods (horizontal directional drilling, relining).
The pipes are manufactured by co-extrusion, configured as follows:
-the outer and inner layers - smooth and blue,
-the layer between the two (intermediate) - smooth, black,
made of high-density polyethylene with resistance to crack propagation, PE100RC, stabilized to provide UV protection, in accordance with PAS 1075:2009-4.
