Water meter chambers are compact, monobloc products (without joints or
welds), made of polyethylene (PE), manufactured using extrusion blow-molding
technology.
They are intended to protect the water meter and the service connection installation.
The manufacturing conditions and general quality requirements for
water meter chambers are included in Valrom Industrie’s Company Technical
Standard STF 9/2005.
Construction version with solid wall: single-layer wall made of solid
material (mass-colored polyethylene).
Component parts
– water meter chamber body
– insulation gasket for the lid
– thermally insulated lid
– thermal insulation sheet made of expanded polyethylene (PEE), 15 mm thick
– 3/4 installation consisting of polyethylene pipes, compression
fittings and shut-off valves. Installations with customized components can be made
as needed.
– DN20 water meter.
The monobloc construction, the thermally insulated lid, and the sealing solutions for
the penetrations—the rubber gasket at the lid and for
wall penetrations—make water infiltration impossible and protect
the internal installation from freezing.
Technical approval and certification for use in construction.
