Water meter chambers are compact, monobloc products (without joints or welds), made of polyethylene (PE), manufactured using rotomoulding technology. They are designed to protect the water meter and connection installation. Manufacturing conditions and general quality requirements for water meter chambers are included in Valrom Industrie Company Technical Standard STF 9/2005. Double-wall construction variant: monolithic construction with outer layer of compact material (mass-colored polyethylene) and expanded inner layer of polyethylene with expanding agents. Components – water meter chamber body – insulation gasket for lid – thermally insulated lid – 1/2″ or 3/4″ installation generally consisting of: polyethylene pipes, compression fittings and isolation valves. Installations with customized components can be made according to requirements – DN15 or DN20 water meter. Benefits: The monobloc construction, double-wall, thermally insulated lid and design solutions for closure and sealing of penetrations rubber gasket at lid and for wall penetrations make water infiltration impossible and protect the interior installation from freezing. The reinforced geometry, with horizontal and vertical ribs, provides the chamber with mechanical rigidity without increasing its weight and implicitly the time or costs of handling and transport. Technical approval and agrément for use in construction.
