The water meter chamber is intended to protect the water meter and related installations for individual service connections.
The water meter chamber shall be installed in non-traffic areas (green space), in Group 1 areas (used exclusively by pedestrians or cyclists) and in Group 2 areas (sidewalks and standing areas, car parks); the classification is in accordance with SR EN 124-1.
If installed in Group 1 or Group 2 areas, a lid with a minimum load class of A15 or minimum B125, respectively, in accordance with EN 124, shall be installed above the chamber with PE lid. The chamber’s PE lid has a diameter of 530 mm and 2 pockets, allowing it to be removed through a composite/cast-iron lid with a clear opening D600.
The body of the water meter chamber is produced by blow extrusion from polyethylene, with a double-wall structure, compact, blue on the outside and white on the inside.
The gasket ensures watertightness, prevents outside air from entering and the installation from freezing.
The installation includes: PE100 SDR 17 PN10 water pipe OD 32x2.0, compression fittings 32X3/4'' FI (2 pcs.), 3/4'' FI-FE brass water valves with lever (2 pcs.).
